You can walk into our office or visit one of our satellite branches (opening soon) to provide your sample. You can also use our app to have our team come to your home or work if you prefer. Unlike hospitals or other labs, our state-of-the-art equipment allows us to use a very small sample of blood for most tests. This means we only take a minimum sample…unlike hospitals or other labs who take multiple vials of blood, this is not something we need to do.

Other labs and hospitals provide individual testing “a la carte.” This means you need to know exactly what you want to test for, and are charged for each and every test performed. This can get very time consuming, expensive, and technical. Unlike our competition, we provide package deals made specific for your age, gender, and health concerns. This allows us to screen for multiple items most common to you and charge an affordable flat rate instead of a per-test fee like the other labs. Once our certified lab technicians get started, drawing a minimum sample of your blood takes only a few minutes. Unlike other labs or hospitals, you won’t need to wait hours in a waiting room while multiple vials of your blood are drawn. We’ll have what we need in just a few minutes after getting started.

Absolutely not! We’ve created a process to minimize pain whereby our technicians apply a local anesthetic patch and use smaller needles. This means faster blood draws and far less pain. We’ve even set up fun VR stations for children, to help take their minds off the process. Our entire approach is focused on ensuring your comfort and minimizing pain. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at how pain-free the process can be.

Depending on the tests and packages you’ve ordered, results can be ready in as little as 45 minutes to a few days. Unlike hospitals and most other labs, where results typically take several weeks, our high tech equipment and highly experienced staff are able to provide results at a fraction of the time. We’ll send you your results or post them in the SmartLab App for you to see immediately after they are released.

Once your results are ready, our team will contact you to let you know. We can send you a full report or walk you through it in our offices. To get your results the fastest, we would recommend downloading our iPhone or Android App. Aside from booking appointments, our app will give you access to your detailed reports and testing results as soon as they become ready.

Because most hospitals and doctor’s offices do not own their own labs or employ their own lab staff, they do not have the ability to perform blood tests in real time. This means your samples are shipped off to a third party lab for testing, along with hundreds of other patients in queue. As a result, you pay a middleman fee to the hospital or doctor’s office, while also waiting much longer for your results than you need to. At SmartLab, we own the lab and employ our own staff. The end result is faster processing and results made available in 1-2 days or less….not 1-2 weeks or more.
